When I do my hair, first of all- I always go to the hairdresser, tell them specifically that you do NOT want it to be yellow, no shades at all! That has worked out nicely for me. If you do have a little yellow-ish colour that you do not want, silver shampoo is a great way to get rid of it. Matrix has a great one that smells lovely, called 'Total Results Color Care So Silver Shampoo'. I bleach highlights on my roots, I have done both with foil and with the 'hat', I think I like with foil most since it doesn't damage the hair as much :)
